Worked with about 297 Preciosa Czech glass beads in 5 colours over a full-colour printed design, so the beads pick out the highlights while the soft painted picture shows through.

A little stitcher's folklore: the goat is a beloved figure of Ukrainian carolling, wishing every house plenty in the year ahead. Stitchers say a folk goat on the tree keeps the home lucky.

Why this kit: if you love modern folk and Nordic-style decor, the graphite ground with red and green accents looks stylish rather than traditional. Five bead colours make it an easy, quick make.

Kit includes: art canvas pre-printed in colour with both sides of the ornament, about 297 Preciosa Czech glass beads in 5 colours, beading needles, beading thread, fiberfill, a decorative ribbon for hanging, and instructions with a finishing guide.
