Stitch Adele Bloch-Bauer, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a dark-haired woman sits wrapped in a shimmering golden dress full of eyes, spirals and squares.

A little stitcher's folklore: Klimt's golden portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer, painted in 1907, inspired the film Woman in Gold.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Gustav Klimt's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 20 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 40×50 cm (15.7×19.7 in). A famous masterpiece to stitch for your wall.

I haven't started stitching on this canvas, but I have years of experience in needlepoint and this is an exceptional canvas, beautifully painted, with all the threads required listed by quantity and number. Great price for a superior product.

The highest praise Incan give you is that it looks like it is handpainted?I have seen hand painted items that are not as clear and easy to follow. Both items I purchased are good value and the service was excellent.
