Bead-embroider the "Gingerbread" star with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a five-pointed star built up in warm bronze seed beads, with blush-pink and ivory pearl clusters forming flower-like rosettes at the center and points, plus pale sage glass cube accents for contrast.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 4 colors, Crystal Art beads in 2 colors (2 sizes), felt, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead; the finished piece is then mounted onto stiff cardboard backing for structure (cardboard, embroidery thread, and glue are purchased separately). Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 7.5x6.5 cm (2.95x2.56 in). A compact beadwork project and a handmade accessory for anyone who likes warm, jewel-toned color combinations.
