Bead-embroider Wisdom with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — the finished piece is an owl worked in cream and silver seed beads, with round green cabochon eyes, a rhinestone-trimmed brow, and a long beaded fringe hanging beneath its feet.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instructions, color scheme, Preciosa Ornela beads (Czech Republic) in 7 colors, additional beads, thread, rhinestone trim, felt, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead, with the fringe strands strung separately and attached at the base once the owl's body is complete. The finished beadwork is then mounted onto a cardboard backing for a firm, structured shape. Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 3.5x10 cm (1.38x3.94 in). A rewarding beadwork project and a handmade owl brooch for a wisdom-themed gift or bird-jewelry collector.
