Build a white bell orchid, a building block flower kit by Wizardi: sprays of dainty white bell-shaped flowers with soft yellow hearts hang from arching lime green stems, broad dark green leaves spread at the base, and it all sits in a mint green ribbed pot.

A little builder's folklore: bell-shaped white flowers are said to ring in happiness, and many brides carry them for luck.

Why this kit: if you prefer quiet, elegant decor, this white and mint plant looks fresh and calm in a bedroom or bathroom.

In the box: bags of ABS building bricks for the blooms, stems, leaves and pot, and an illustrated step-by-step instruction booklet. Not included: glue or tools, because none are needed.

How to build and display: the bricks press together by hand with no glue, so start with the pot, add the stems and leaves, then click each bloom into place following the numbered steps. Stand it on a desk, bookshelf or windowsill; it never needs water or sunlight, and a soft brush keeps it dust-free.

610 pieces. A lasting flower gift for mom, a friend, a teacher or a coworker, and a calm screen-free hobby for adults and teens. Recommended for ages 14 and up; small parts, keep away from young children.
