Gingerbread Baker Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 10 in by Wizardi F07AM9-12-N01109C

Bring a little Christmas bakery to the kitchen with the Gingerbread Baker, a wooden nutcracker by Wizardi — a cheerful chef in a tall white toque with a red gingham band, a red jacket, a fluffy white beard and a curled moustache. He proudly holds a tray with a gingerbread man and a frosted gingerbread house, with a red-and-white striped tunic, green trousers with white cuffs and black boots on a round green base.

A little collector's folklore: gingerbread has been baked for Christmas markets for hundreds of years, and in old Europe gingerbread houses were said to bring sweetness to the home for the whole year. Collectors say a baker nutcracker in the kitchen makes sure the cookies always come out perfect.

Why this nutcracker: if you love baking or have a gingerbread-themed Christmas, he is made for the kitchen shelf, the coffee bar or the cookie table. His red, white and green colours are classic Christmas, and at about 10 inches he fits neatly on a counter or windowsill.

In the box: one Gingerbread Baker nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard and a fixed treat tray, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Set him beside the cookie jar, on an open kitchen shelf or on the dessert table, or line him up with the other bakers in the series (F07AM9-12-N01109A, B and D). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 25 cm tall (10 in). Christmas kitchen and bakery decor, and a sweet gift for bakers, cookie lovers and nutcracker collectors.
