Royal Guard Christmas Wooden Nutcracker Ornaments 5 in Set of 6 by Wizardi F07M6-19

Bring a whole royal guard to the tree with this set of six wooden Christmas nutcracker ornaments by Wizardi — two gold-crowned kings, a soldier in a tall black cap, a drummer in a red cap, a blue-capped guard and a red-capped soldier. Their red, blue and green uniforms are trimmed in gold, each has a fluffy white beard and moustache, and each carries its own prop, from a scepter or sword to drumsticks, on a round gold base.

A little collector's folklore: in The Nutcracker, the toy soldiers spring to life at midnight to defend Clara's Christmas tree from the Mouse King, and collectors say a full guard on the branches keeps the presents safe until morning. Six is the right number — one for every side of the tree and two to spare.

Why this set: if you love the traditional nutcracker look, this is the classic royal guard in miniature, with enough variety in caps, crowns and props that every figure feels different. One set fills a small tree, lines a mantel or turns a shelf into a little parade, and it makes an easy first step into collecting.

In the box: six painted wooden nutcracker ornaments with white faux-fur beards, each standing on its own round gold base. Decorative figures, not for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Stand them in a row along the mantel, march them across a windowsill, or spread them through a Christmas village or centrepiece. Dust with a soft, dry brush and store them wrapped in tissue after the holidays. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 13 cm tall each (5.1 in). Classic Christmas mantel, shelf and tree decor, and a festive gift for nutcracker collectors and families starting their first collection.
