Floral Corgi Cloisonne Art Kit by Wizardi F07AM3-20-2

Fill in a floral corgi, a cloisonne art kit by Wizardi: a smiling corgi with its body filled with colourful flower and swirl patterns stands beside a blossom branch on a deep navy ground, outlined in raised gold lines.

A little crafter's folklore: Welsh legend says corgis once carried fairies on their backs, which is why they have saddle markings.

Why this kit: if you love dogs, this patterned corgi is a fun gift for any corgi owner.

In the box: a pre-patterned alumina board with raised gold lines outlining every area, packs of coloured quartz sand, fixative glue, mini mixing cups, a palette knife, an instruction leaflet with a colour guide and a wooden picture frame for the finished piece. Not included: a hairdryer for drying.

How to make it: pour a little of one sand colour into a mixing cup, add just enough glue to cover it and stir into a thick paste, let it stand for two minutes, then spread small amounts into the matching areas with the palette knife, keeping the sand just below the gold lines so they stay visible; when every area is filled, dry the panel with a hairdryer on its lowest setting and set it in the frame.

Finished size 17 x 17 cm (6.7 x 6.7 in), framed and ready to stand on a shelf or desk; a relaxing project for adults and teens and a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves colour and fine detail.
