Bead Alpha Wolf, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a grey wolf with piercing amber eyes stares straight out, framed by a glowing full moon, dark pine trees and fiery orange embers rising around him. Worked with over 8,710 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 21 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Slavic and Native American lore the wolf is a guardian and teacher — loyal to its pack, brave and wise — and a wolf under the full moon is at the height of its power. Stitchers say a wolf on the wall protects the family and gives courage.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 8,710 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 21 colours, Japanese beading needles, beading thread, and instructions with a printed colour key. Frame not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the wolf's eyes and face first, then the moon, pines and embers.
