This Seg De Paris printed tapestry canvas captures a sunlit stone passageway in a Provençal village, framed by an arched stone gateway, blue-shuttered houses, cascading red flowers, and a bell tower glimpsed through the arch beyond.

Why this canvas: the arched stone architecture gives well-defined shapes that are easy to block in before adding finer plant and shadow detail; the warm stone, blue-shutter, and red-bloom palette suits Mediterranean or French country decor; the layered street scene, with buildings in shadow and a sunlit courtyard beyond, offers a satisfying sense of depth to stitch.

Canvas includes: Zweigart 10ct, 100% cotton canvas (40 holes/10 cm) pre-printed for the half cross stitch technique, plus a detailed thread list covering every required DMC Mouliné, Colbert Wool, Retors Cotton, and Pearl Cotton color. Thread, needle, and finishing materials are not included and must be purchased separately.

The passageway scene is printed directly onto the canvas as a color guide, so the stitcher works a single diagonal half-cross stitch over each printed square in the shade indicated, using the included DMC list to keep the stonework, shutters, and flowers true to the design.
