Stitch Easter Eggs, a plastic canvas cross stitch kit by Orchidea — four egg-shaped ornaments show a cottage with a butterfly, a willow basket, Easter bells and geese by a farm.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Poland, decorated Easter eggs are called pisanki.

Why this kit: quick designs on stiff plastic canvas that you can cut out and hang straight away, perfect for decorating or giving.

Kit includes: white plastic canvas, DMC 6-strand cotton floss in 26 colours, a chart, instructions and a needle to make four ornaments. Stitch used: cross stitch. No hoop or frame is needed, as plastic canvas holds its shape.

Stitch each design on the plastic canvas, then trim around the edge and add a loop of thread for hanging.

Each ornament measures about 10×12.5 cm (3.9×4.9 in). Pretty decorations for an Easter tree.
