Stitch Christmas Decorations, a plastic canvas cross stitch kit by Luca-S — four richly patterned ornaments: a mandala bauble, a Christmas stocking, a decorated tree and a red poinsettia, in folk-art reds, greens and golds.

A little stitcher's folklore: poinsettias were said to be the flowers of Christmas Eve, blooming to welcome the holy night.

Why this kit: an easy, festive set with 27 colours and two charts to help you along.

Kit includes: an A4 sheet (21×28 cm) of plastic canvas, Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 27 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart and a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions.

Stitch each ornament on the plastic canvas, then cut it out one hole beyond the stitching and add a loop of thread to hang it.

Each ornament: about 10×15 cm (3.9×5.9 in). Hang them on the tree year after year.

All of the kits I purchased from Wizardi are wonderful. But this may be my favorite. The colors and details are spectacular. Everything is ready to stitch. I love it!!
