Bead-embroider Wisdom and Longevity with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — the finished piece forms a fan-shaped leaf worked in graduated teal and blue thread, its veins picked out in gold beads and its lower edge trimmed with a rhinestone chain.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: manufacturing instructions, color scheme, beads, lace, felt, chain, sequins, thread, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead, with shaded thread filling the fanned lobes of the leaf before the beaded veins and border are added. Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 5x5 cm (1.97x1.97 in). A quick beadwork and embroidery project and a meaningful handmade gift for someone marking a milestone or celebrating longevity.
