Bring to life Guardian of Treasure with this Charivna Mit counted cross-stitch kit — a fantasy dragon shown in close-up profile, its horned head and scaled neck rendered in cool silver-grey tones, wearing an ornate jeweled pendant with a glowing red gem.

Why this kit: the charted design gives stitchers a clear path to follow; the included or specified materials support detailed needlework; the finished piece is suitable for framing, seasonal decor, or gifting.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color cross-stitch pattern, Aida 14 fabric, Madeira mouline floss in 13 colors, Preciosa beads in 3 colors, Crystal Art beads in 2 colors, and needles. Made in Ukraine.

Counted cross-stitch is worked by following the color chart and placing each stitch on the marked Aida fabric with the indicated Madeira thread color, while the Preciosa and Crystal Art beads are stitched in at marked points on the pendant and eye for a glinting, jewel-like finish. Work the head and horns first, then the scaled neck and pendant, before framing as wall art.

Finished size: 28 x 44 cm (11.02 x 17.32 in). A large, detailed project for an experienced stitcher, and a striking fantasy-themed centerpiece for a dragon or fantasy art collector.

    I have wanted this kit for a long time, and I'm so happy it's here. Shipping was very fast. The kit is as described. The instructions have got to be read carefully and more than once to make sure everything is clear. I wish they were more specific with the beads. There are 5 different types of Preciosa beads and only 2 of them (# 3 and 5) appear in the instructions. I had to look at the front picture to see where the others go. Anyway, I am so eager to start! I will post more pics when I have some progress.
