Item came as described and the thread is great quality DMC cotton. Customer service was great when I had questions, they went directly to the manufacturer and got back to me pretty quick. \n\nThe only downside of the kit is that it doesn't come with the DMC number for the threads, so if you like organizing your threads in a certain way, keep that in mind.\n\nI can understand that the manufacturer doesn't want people replicating a kit, but it can be a little rough as a new stitcher. The manufacturer says they give 20% more threads than needed so you shouldn't run out. \n\n\nSo far I'm really enjoying my new kit and plan to have a sleeping kitty on books in my bookshelf soon :)
