A little stitcher's folklore: hanging decorated eggs on a branch, the Ostereierbaum, is an Easter tradition from Germany.

Why this kit: quick designs on stiff plastic canvas that you can cut out and hang straight away, perfect for decorating or giving.

Kit includes: white plastic canvas, DMC 6-strand cotton floss, a chart, instructions and a needle to make the ornaments. Stitch used: cross stitch. No hoop or frame is needed, as plastic canvas holds its shape.

Stitch each design on the plastic canvas, then trim around the edge and add a loop of thread for hanging.

Each ornament measures about 9×11 cm (3.5×4.3 in). Pretty decorations for an Easter tree.
