Bead Wreath of Shells, a coastal bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a round wreath of pink and peach seashells, purple coral, sea fans and an orange starfish hangs above a beaded "Welcome" on weathered teal boards. Worked with nearly 5,000 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads.

A little stitcher's folklore: sailors believed a seashell kept at home carried the sea's protection, and a starfish was a charm for good luck and guidance. Stitchers say a shell wreath with "Welcome" invites good friends and happy summers through the door.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, nearly 5,000 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the shells and starfish first, then the coral and the "Welcome" lettering.

Finished size: 22×30 cm (8.66×11.81 in). Coastal entryway decor and a housewarming gift.
