Stitch Flowers of Happiness, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — soft, watercolour-style purple anemones, bright yellow flowers and blue agapanthus bloom together on a light background. Worked in 40 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 14-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: a bunch of mixed garden flowers was said to bring a different kind of happiness for every colour. Stitchers say this one has plenty to go round.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 40 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the darkest purple petals, then the yellow flowers. Finish with the blue agapanthus and the soft green stems.

Finished size: 20×20 cm (7.87×7.87 in). A fresh floral picture to frame and a lovely handmade gift.
