Open the cream tin to find a little European street corner: an Old Coffee House, a flower shop with blue shutters and a bakery stand side by side under trailing purple wisteria, with a red telephone box and a street clock at one end and two rabbits chatting outside the shops. The lid shows a sepia old-town street with a short story and a tiny open book.

A little crafter's folklore: townsfolk say the corner cafe hears every bit of good news first, and miniaturists like to add one tiny cup to its window.
