New York Skyline Retro TV DIY Miniature Scene Kit 6 in by Wizardi F07AM15-5-68068

A sky blue retro television with yellow dials holds an American skyline on its screen: the Statue of Liberty raises her torch in front, a red suspension bridge spans the water, a white domed capitol building and city towers rise behind, and a sailboat drifts below. It is the most detailed build in the series at 167 pieces.

A little crafter's folklore: New Yorkers say the city never sleeps, and miniaturists like to leave this one glowing on the shelf long after bedtime.

Why this kit: if you love New York or American landmarks, this blue TV is packed with detail, a satisfying 167 piece build with a warm light.

In the box: laser-cut wooden sheets for the retro TV cabinet and the layered city scene, printed backdrop and figure pieces, an LED light with an on-off switch, and an illustrated instruction manual. Not included: batteries for the light, glue and small tools such as tweezers.

Part of the Retro TV travel series: six wooden television sets in different colours, each with a famous city or landmark scene on the screen, so a row of them makes a little world tour on a shelf. Build tip: build the cabinet frame first, slot the scene layers in from back to front, then fit the dials, antennas and light last. Pair it with the London Streets, Paris and Mount Fuji Pagoda Retro TVs.

Size: 15.1 x 8.7 x 12.5 cm (5.9 x 3.4 x 4.9 in), about 167 wooden pieces. A cheerful desk or shelf display that doubles as a soft night light, and a gift for travellers and anyone who loves a nostalgic look. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
