Stitch Sunflowers, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a tall vase of golden sunflowers stands on a red cloth against a purple background.

A little stitcher's folklore: Monet painted this bouquet of sunflowers in 1881, a few years before Van Gogh painted his own.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Claude Monet's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 17 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 40×50 cm (15.7×19.7 in). A famous masterpiece to stitch for your wall.
