A little stitcher's folklore: Klimt used real gold leaf in The Kiss, painted in 1907 and 1908 during his Golden Period.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Gustav Klimt's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 21 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 40×50 cm (15.7×19.7 in). A famous masterpiece to stitch for your wall.

    my only criticism is that the paint used for the canvas is water based and the canvas used is way too stiff, cannot put it in water to soften it because the colors bleed!
