Stitch Chestnut Horse, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a chestnut horse with a white blaze and a leather bridle turns its head against a warm autumn background.

A little stitcher's folklore: the white stripe down a horse's face is called a blaze.

Why this canvas: the full-colour print shows exactly where each shade goes, so there is no chart to count and you can simply relax and stitch.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 18 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 18×24 cm (7.1×9.4 in). A handsome gift for a horse lover.

    These are great! It doesn’t come with the yarn. The price says that. I like to pick out my own yarn or sometimes I use floss. It’s all up to you! Fast delivery as well. I got mine within a week
