A little stitcher's folklore: Arthur Hacker was an English painter of the late 1800s and a member of the Royal Academy.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Arthur Hacker's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 27 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 24×30 cm (9.4×11.8 in). A romantic art piece for a bedroom.
