A little stitcher's folklore: Bengal cats are known for enjoying water, unlike most cats.

Why this canvas: you choose the thread, so you can work it in tapestry wool for a traditional look or in cotton floss for a finer finish.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 19 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 18×24 cm (7.1×9.4 in). A striking gift for a cat lover.

    I am new to needlepointing, and can't afford hand-painted canvas. But this is such a lovely alternative and I just love that they give you a guide based on what kind of thread you buy/use. Great product.
