A little stitcher's folklore: Henry Stacy Marks was an English painter famous for his humorous studies of birds, many drawn at London Zoo.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Henry Stacy Marks's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 29 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 40×50 cm (15.7×19.7 in). A witty art piece for a bird lover.
