A little stitcher's folklore: Catherine Klein was a German flower painter whose designs were printed on thousands of postcards around 1900.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Catherine Klein's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 25 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 24×30 cm (9.4×11.8 in). A bold art piece for a kitchen.
