This Seg De Paris printed tapestry canvas depicts a wooden mountain chalet framed by snow-capped peaks, with a rustic wooden fence and a hollowed-log planter overflowing with pink, yellow, white, and red flowers in the foreground. Window boxes on the chalet echo the same bright blooms, tying the flower-filled enclosure to the alpine building behind it.

Since the scene is printed directly onto the canvas in its finished colors, the stitcher works a single diagonal half-cross stitch over each printed square using the shade shown there, referring to the included DMC list to match Mouliné, Colbert Wool, Retors Cotton, or Pearl Cotton to that color. Working the mountain and chalet first, then the flower planter, helps keep the many small floral color changes manageable.

The finished canvas measures 45 x 60 cm (17.72 x 23.62 in), a picture-sized format ideal for framing as alpine-inspired wall art in a cabin, lodge, or mountain-themed room.
