Canvas includes: genuine Zweigart 10ct cotton canvas (40 holes/10 cm) pre-printed with the full design for half cross stitch, plus a complete thread reference list covering four DMC thread types — DMC Mouliné, DMC Colbert Wool, DMC Retors Cotton, and DMC Pearl Cotton. Thread, needle, and finishing materials are not included and must be purchased separately.

With the stag and forest already printed on the canvas as a color guide, the stitcher works a single diagonal half cross stitch over each printed square in the shade shown, using the included DMC list to pick out the browns, golds, and greens throughout the scene.

Finished, the canvas measures 25 x 60 cm (9.84 x 23.62 in); its narrow, elongated format makes it best suited to a framed vertical wall picture rather than a rug, ideal for a lodge-style hallway or study.
