A little stitcher's folklore: every toy animal was said to become real on the night it was most loved.

Why this kit: an easy set of six little animals with 46 colours — lovely for children.

Kit includes: an A4 sheet (21×28 cm) of plastic canvas, Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 46 colours, 2 needles, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions.

Stitch each ornament on the plastic canvas, then cut it out one hole beyond the stitching and add a loop of thread to hang it.

Each ornament: about 8×9 cm (3.1×3.5 in). Hang them in a nursery, on a mobile or on the tree.
