Three egg-shaped Easter ornaments with white tassels: a bunny with a basket of painted eggs and a blue bow, a yellow chick in a purple eggshell with pussy willow, and two bunnies nuzzling, each framed by a floral vine border.

Why this kit: an egg shape and tassels that make them ready to hang on an Easter tree; three coordinated designs from one kit; filling and cord are included, so each piece finishes as a ready-to-hang ornament.

Kit includes: 100% cotton 16 count Aida in natural linen color, 100% cotton DMC floss in 27 colors, a Pony needle, hollowfiber filling, cord for finishing, a black-and-white printed chart with the backstitch shown in color, and a digital copy of the pattern. Each piece measures about 7x10.5 cm (2.76x4.13 in). Made in Ukraine.

Each design is worked in counted cross stitch, following the chart and matching every symbol to its DMC floss color, with the colored backstitch outlines added at the end. The finished pieces are backed, lightly stuffed with the hollowfiber filling, and edged with the cord to hang.

A spring project for stitchers of most levels and a lovely handmade Easter gift.
