Stitch Tender Flower Buds, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — soft pink garden roses and buds spill from a clear glass bowl on long, leafy green stems. Worked in 38 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: rosebuds stand for young love and new beginnings, and a bowl of roses was said to fill a home with warmth and kind words. Stitchers say these buds never stop blooming.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 38 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the rose heads and buds, working the darker pinks first, then the leaves and stems. Finish with the pale glass bowl.

Finished size: 19.5×16 cm (7.68×6.3 in). A romantic floral picture to frame and a heartfelt handmade gift.
