Stitch Warmth in Palms, a counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a sleepy black and tan puppy rests its head and paw in a pair of gentle hands drawn in fine lines. Worked in 14 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

Why this kit: if you love dogs and tender designs, this is a quick, heart-warming stitch. A lovely gift for a new puppy owner, and part of RTO's Warmth in Palms series.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 14 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the puppy's closed eyes and nose, then the black and tan fur. Finish with the fine outlines of the hands.

Finished size: 15.5×12.5 cm (6.1×4.92 in). A tender puppy picture to frame and a heartfelt gift for dog lovers.
