Shape Wise owl with this Charivna Mit needle felting kit — a plump little owl in soft cream and gray wool with round yellow eyes and a hint of pale blue at the ear tufts, perched on a felted book with a bright red ribbon bookmark tucked between its pages.

Kit includes: instructions, color scheme, New Zealand Ashford wool in 7 colors, double-sided stitching thread (Spain) in 1 color, and 2 felting needle tips. Made in Ukraine.

Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — the head, body, wings, and the book base — following the included instructions, adding the stitched detail once the base shape is felted.
