The Hen with Chicks is a new kit for 2025 and is made entirely from wool and glass glue-in eyes. You get a little help shaping the hen by using a ready made wool ball which is part of the kit. The little yellow chicks are just adorable and you can make up to three. Suitable for beginners+ and children over 10 (or supervised crafty children 7+). Size: Approx. 10-11cm long - hen only. Techniques used: Making basic shapes from wool, joining them, adding features and surface colours and textures. This small kit contains: Full colour, step-by-step instructions, 6x different types of wool, Glue-in Eyes, 5cm Wool Ball, Felting needles (#38 Medium) , Eco Wool Felting Mat (made from recycled wool and 100% compostable). You will also need: clear-drying PVA Glue and sharp little scissors. Designed and packaged in the UK using ethically sourced and eco-friendly materials.
