Stitch Violet Butterfly, a counted cross stitch postcard kit by Luca-S — a purple and lilac butterfly fills the card window, framed by a printed card of violets, bluebells and tiny fluttering butterflies.

A little stitcher's folklore: a butterfly on a card was said to carry good wishes to whoever opens it.

Why this kit: a quick, small project with 10 colours — finish it in an evening and send it to someone special.

Kit includes: a printed card mount with a window, 18-count Aida, Anchor 100% cotton threads in 10 colours, a needle, a chart and instructions.

Stitch the small motif on the Aida, then trim it to size and fix it behind the card window.

Stitched area: 9×9 cm (3.5×3.5 in). A handmade card for a birthday or thank-you, or a mini picture to frame.

Butterflies are beautiful creatures that symbolize a new stage in life. They mark freedom and change for the better. They have long been used in romanticism as a symbol of love and lightness, which make any creation even more beautiful. In Asian culture, butterflies are believed to symbolize the immortality of the soul, femininity and the life cycle.

For us, butterflies are just something beautiful and fleeting, but always memorable, like moments of happiness in life.

Over their centuries-old history, they conquered people with airiness, mystery and beauty. All colors and shades, various patterns can be found on their wings. Our paintings reflect all the beauty of these beautiful wonders. You can choose any one to your taste and get a huge positive charge, as well as relax your soul and body.
