Stitch Daffodils, a stamped cross stitch kit by Orchidea — white daffodils with orange centres among tall green leaves.

A little stitcher's folklore: Wordsworth's poem I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud was inspired by daffodils beside Ullswater.

Why this kit: the design is printed on the aida, so there is no chart to count, which makes it an ideal first cross stitch.

Kit includes: Zweigart aida printed with the design, Ariadna 6-strand cotton floss in 9 colours, instructions and a needle. Stitch used: cross stitch. A frame is not included.

Stitch over the printed crosses, one colour at a time, starting from the centre of the design.

Finished size: 11×11 cm (4.3×4.3 in). A fresh little picture to frame.
