Stitch Pansies, a stamped cross stitch kit by Orchidea — a basket of purple, white and yellow pansies tied with a red bow.

A little stitcher's folklore: pansies are edible, and their petals are used to decorate cakes and salads.

Why this kit: the design is printed on the aida, so there is no chart to count, which makes it an ideal first cross stitch.

Kit includes: Zweigart aida printed with the design, Ariadna 6-strand cotton floss in 20 colours, instructions and a needle. Stitch used: cross stitch. A frame is not included.

Stitch over the printed crosses, one colour at a time, starting from the centre of the design.

Finished size: 11×11 cm (4.3×4.3 in). A pretty little picture to frame.

    This stamped cross stitch was exactly as described and I am so happy with it. Finished, now matted, framed and gift wrapped for a dear friend. The pretty colors of the pansies allow a variety of color choices for matting and framing. I expect to be ordering 2 more soon.
