Cardinal and Roses depicts a pair of cardinals, a bright red male and a tan-and-olive female, perched together on a branch amid red and white roses, as a wooden jigsaw puzzle. The box lists a 5A Challenger difficulty and A3 size. Note: the source description referenced a single cardinal, but the packaging artwork clearly shows a male and female cardinal pair, which this description reflects.

Why this kit: laser-cut wood pieces interlock securely, keeping the rose petals and feather detailing aligned during assembly; whimsy-shaped pieces are worked into the standard interlocking cuts among the floral branches; a matt-finished print on the wood stock keeps the reds of the cardinals and roses rich without blurring together.
