Stitch Black Kitten at Night, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a black kitten with big yellow eyes peeping over a wooden fence under a crescent moon and a starry night sky, worked in bold, simple blocks of colour on 14-count Aida. A tiny first project for children and beginners.

A little stitcher's folklore: a black cat looking at the moon was said to be making a wish for its owner.

Why this kit: a perfect first cross stitch: small, only 7 colours and big 14-count squares that are easy to see and count.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Madeira stranded cotton threads in 7 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the kitten's eyes first, then the black fur and orange fence, and finish with the night sky and moon using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 5.5×10 cm (2.2×3.9 in). A sweet mini picture for a card or small frame, and a great first kit for young stitchers.
