Night Train Detective Mystery DIY Book Nook Kit 9 in by Wizardi F07M5-49-BN01

A vintage night train carriage stacked into a tall book nook: upstairs a detective in a trench coat and hat studies clues among bookshelves and a marble bust under a floral topper, and below, labelled levels show the outer corridor with passengers by the window and the crime scene compartment, each lit from within and furnished down to the luggage. A cut-out window on the side panel lets you peek in, and a clear dust cover keeps it clean.

A little crafter's folklore: mystery readers say every train journey hides one secret among its passengers, and miniaturists like to hide a tiny clue somewhere in the carriage.

Why this kit: if you love classic whodunits, this nook tells a story in three scenes, with a peek-through window, dust cover and touch-switch light.

In the box: laser-cut wooden sheets for the book nook case and the multi-level scene, printed figures, signs and side-panel artwork, tiny props, an LED light with a touch switch and battery box, and an illustrated instruction manual. Not included: batteries, glue and small tools such as tweezers.

Part of the Wizardi storybook book nook series in the same tall upright case, made to stand between your books like a lit volume of its own, so shops, homes and fantasy rooms line up on one shelf. Build tip: build the scene floor by floor from the bottom up, route the light wire as you go and test the touch switch before closing the side panels, then add the roof details last. Pair it with the Rose Detective Agency and Grandfather's Antique Store book nooks.

Size: 11 x 18 x 23 cm (4.3 x 7.1 x 9.1 in). A statement bookshelf insert that glows between your books at night, and a memorable gift for readers. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
