Stitch Field of Flowers, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — a brown hare sits up among red poppies and white daisies.
A little stitcher's folklore: hares never live in burrows; they rest in a shallow dip in the grass called a 'form'.
Why this kit: based on artwork by Hannah Dale of Wrendale Designs, it is stitched on Aida printed with Bothy Threads' exclusive speckled background, so the soft Wrendale look is ready-made.
Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida printed with Bothy Threads' exclusive Wrendale Designs speckle, pre-sorted stranded cottons, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: cross stitch, back stitch and French knots. A frame is not included.
Stitch the hare and flowers in cross stitch from the centre, then add the whiskers in back stitch and the French knots.
Finished size: 26×26 cm (10.2×10.2 in). A bright spring piece from the Spring 2025 Collection.
