This second bear design felts a rust-brown bear caught mid-stride, balancing on one foot with its paws lifted to the sides. Black bead eyes, a small black nose, and pink blushed cheeks give it a cheerful expression, and a red ruffled trim collar wraps its neck, setting this variant apart in both palette and pose from the other bear kit in the range.

Why this kit: a warmer rust-brown palette and dynamic balancing pose that distinguishes it from the companion bear variant, ideal for displaying the two side by side; an animated, mid-motion stance that gives the figure more energy than a simple seated bear; pre-colored brown, red, and cream wool that keeps the look cohesive without extra dye work.

Kit includes: pre-colored wool roving in rust-brown, cream, and red tones, one or more felting needles, a foam mat, and illustrated step-by-step instructions. Dimensions: 6.8 x 6 x 3.5 cm / 2.67 x 2.36 x 1.37 in.

Small tufts of brown wool are layered and repeatedly poked with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. The rounded body and head are worked first, with the balancing legs, paws, and collar trim built up and secured section by section following the included instructions.
