This kit felts a grey koala with round white-tipped ears, a wide white face patch, a large black rounded nose, and bright black bead eyes giving it an alert, wide-eyed expression rather than a drowsy one. Its arms wrap forward in a hugging pose, and in the reference photo it is seated on a rounded blue chick-shaped base with a small orange felted beak.

Why this kit: the oversized black nose and round white-tipped ears make this one of the most recognizable faces in the range; the hugging, seated pose adds charm beyond a plain standing figure; pre-coloured grey, white, and black wool roving is ready to felt with no separate dyeing.

Kit includes: pre-coloured wool roving, one or more felting needles, a foam mat, and illustrated step-by-step instructions. Dimensions: 10.5 x 5 x 3 cm / 4.13 x 1.96 x 1.18 in.

Small tufts of wool are layered and repeatedly poked with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. The head, ears, nose, and paws are worked section by section, following the included instructions.
