She has been designing since 2016 and has created over 100 unique cross-stitch charts.
The designer’s main principle is to make sure that the finished piece is beautiful while keeping the cross-stitching process simple and convenient. Each chart created by Darya Mastrakova is characterized by as few complex elements as possible and harmonious and logical color combinations.
When creating her charts, Darya always thinks about a cross-stitcher who would work on this particular project, which encourages her to keep the pattern convenient and easy to follow. She always strives to simplify the design whenever possible, if it doesn’t affect the final result.
Each pattern is cross-stitched and tested by the designer herself or by experienced stitchers prior to being released. Darya believes that it’s the only way to detect weak points in the design and fix them, thus ensuring the perfect balance between the simplicity and convenience of the chart and the striking finished result.
