Bead-embroider "Cat" with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a sitting cat silhouette in white and silver pearls and seed beads, accented with clear rhinestones, and finished with a long curved tail trailing to one side.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 4 colors (4 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 4 colors (4 sizes), rhinestones (3 pieces), felt, wire, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead; the wire shapes the cat's curved tail, and the finished piece is mounted onto stiff cardboard backing for structure (cardboard, embroidery thread, and glue are purchased separately). Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 6x6 cm (2.36x2.36 in). A quick beadwork project and a charming handmade gift for a cat lover.
