Bead-embroider Pineapple with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a golden pineapple shape in faceted amber beads arranged in a crosshatch pattern, topped with a spiky crown of green crystal leaves.

Why this kit: 7 Preciosa bead colors (4 sizes) and 5 Crystal Art bead colors (5 sizes) build the crisscross diamond pattern on the pineapple body and the layered green crown; the geometric bead layout gives clean, crisp lines; the sunny gold-and-green palette makes a cheerful summer-ready accessory.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 7 colors (4 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 5 colors (5 sizes), wire in 1 color, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine. Backing cardboard, beading thread, and glue for mounting are sold separately.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color pattern and stitching each bead onto the backing in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead, with the wire shaping the crown of leaves. Once the beadwork is complete, mount it onto stiff backing cardboard (purchased separately) and attach the fastener to wear or gift.

Finished size: 6.8 x 4.2 cm (2.68 x 1.65 in). A quick beadwork project and a fun tropical-themed accessory or gift for summer.

    This kit arrived Friday afternoon and I immediately started beading. The pineapple brooch was all finished by Saturday afternoon. It is nice to have all the beads I need in a quality kit. Thanks.
