Bead-embroider "Pumpkin" with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a rounded pumpkin silhouette in glowing amber and orange faceted beads, topped with a beige bugle-bead stem and curling copper wire tendrils.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 8 colors (3 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 9 colors (9 sizes), felt, wire, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead; the wire is curled into tendrils at the stem, and the finished piece is mounted onto stiff cardboard backing for structure (cardboard, embroidery thread, and glue are purchased separately). Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 4.5x4.5 cm (1.77x1.77 in). A quick, festive beadwork project and a handmade fall or Halloween-season accessory.
