Bead-embroider "Unicorn" with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a unicorn head in profile, built from blush, cream, and pearl beads, with a gold beaded spiral horn, a single black bead eye, and a cascading pearl mane.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 9 colors, Crystal Art beads in 8 colors (5 sizes), felt in 2 colors, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead; the finished piece is then mounted onto stiff cardboard backing for structure (cardboard, embroidery thread, and glue are purchased separately). Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 4.5x7.5 cm (1.77x2.95 in). An engaging beadwork project and a whimsical handmade gift for a unicorn or fantasy-motif jewelry fan.
