Create Hydrangea with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a rounded cluster of lilac and violet sequin petals layered over deep purple beads, finished with a sparkling rhinestone accent and a trailing spray of green glass leaves.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 5 colors (3 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 2 colors (2 sizes), rhinestones, gimp, sequins, wire in 1 color, felt in 1 color, fastener, and a needle (cardboard backing, beading thread, and glue are needed but sold separately). Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead, then mounting the piece onto cardboard for a firm base. Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 5.5x5.5 cm (2.17x2.17 in). A satisfying floral beadwork project and a pretty handmade gift for a hydrangea or garden-flower lover.
